| Character Template Character Name: {Full Name; Last, First} Alias | Epithet: {Character's nickname} Race: {See List} - List of Races:
Human - Most dominant, and technologically advanced, race in the world. Can be found on most islands, including those in the New World. No Stat bonuses.
Fishman - A people with fish-like characteristics, but overall humanoid appearances. They have a greater advantage in the water, but can still fall prey to the effects of the Devil Fruit if any one of them have ingested one. +1 in effectiveness to strength.
Minkman - A people with animal-like characteristics relating to mammals on land. They have humanoid, but more bestial appearances. +1 in effectiveness to speed.
Kuja - A tribe of female warriors originating from Amazon Lily who have never seen men before. Identical to normal humans, but possess a slightly better ability to grasp the concepts of Haki. Attire is typically skimpy and with straps-- bikini style clothing, yet yet with warrior elements. Word count for learning Haki is reduced by 10%.
Dwarf - An extremely small, sentient people who have been known as slaves many years ago. They have been liberated. Their height compared to ordinary humans are like humans compared to giants. The difference is extreme nonetheless. They are mostly human in shape, but with fluffy tails and more chibi features. +1 in effectiveness to reaction speed.
Cyborg - Humans or other creatures that have been modified by machinery and metals. The various species used to create Cyborgs is a vast number, but are generally the more humanoid types. Because their bodies are made mostly out of technology, they cannot ingest Devil Fruits. However, they gain a +1 to strength and perception. Martial Artist - Specializes in fighting with their bare hands. Uses daggers and gauntlets in combat.
Weapons Specialist - Specializes in fighting with swords, axes, spears, and other bladed weapons.
Marksman - Specializes in fighting with ranged weapons. Uses pistols, rifles, bows and arrows, and other ballistic weapons.
Thief - Specializes in stealing and has a better understanding of stealth and sneaking around.
Chef - Cooks meals for crews during travels to keep them well-fed and rested. Can use even a fork to gain the upper hand in battle.
Doctor - Specializes in medical care for allies and can use numerous pieces of surgical equipment. Can become skilled enough to perform treatment in even the harshest conditions.
Navigator - Specializes in guiding the ship to new destinations. Possibly one of the most level-headed when under pressure during sea travel.
Shipwright - Focuses on maintenance for the vessel in order to keep it running perfectly for traveling the seas. | Equipment Template Equipment Name: {What it is called} Equipment Type: {Armor, Weapon, Medical, Misc.} Equipment Rank: {D, C, B, A, S} Requirement: {Does it require strength or defense to be at a certain level? Specify which stat and what rank.} Quantity: {How many you plan to purchase} Ability: {If it has a special ability, describe that ability and explain how it works.} Description: {Describe the equipment's appearance and functions. Please be very descriptive.} Equipment History: {A brief description of where it came from.} Some Things to KnowSo, here's a little more that you will need to know when making some equipment for your character. As long as you keep these things in mind, you won't have any problems with getting your things set up for the Rp.
- The equipment's rank is easily determined by two other fields in your template-- the requirement and the ability. If it is required that your strength be at Rank C, then the equipment's rank will jump to Rank C. Giving it a special ability of any kind adds at least one rank. So, adding an ability to a Rank C piece of equipment will bring it up to B. If a moderator sees that the rank could or should be adjusted to a higher rank, or lower, they will leave a note telling you to make an adjustment.
- Equipment that you make can be done at any time, but you need to be aware that they still cost Beli. The amount it costs is dependent on the rank of the equipment. As the rank goes higher, you will see that your creation will become very expensive. Make sure you actually have enough Beli before thinking about making something. Members can go with the minimum price, but a Mod's judgement might make it so that the price is increased.

- Remember that the Mod in charge of these templates has a lot of power. They can deny approval for anything that appears unfair. The tips they leave are to be taken and changes that need to be made also need to be taken for a better chance at getting approved.

- Ability Rank: The rank of the ability you are creating is easily determined by the effects of the ability and the function. If you are giving it a weaker and less harmful nature, it may be safe to say that it would belong to Ranks D or maybe even C. Of course, the Mod in charge has the ability to set a new rank if it seems stronger.
- Ability Range: How far techniques can travel varies for every ability. Sometimes weak ones can travel very far and still do damage, sometimes powerful techniques can only be done at close ranges. Explosive attacks tend to damage an entire radius. Both are measured in meters, but feet can be used if the techniques are very close. Just keep it within fair grounds, or risk getting denied.
- Duration: Not all abilities last very long, so the duration of their effects may be in a single moment. Or, they may last for a little while-- 3 posts. Be fair and don't make this field something ridiculous, like 10 posts.
- Cooldown: As stated in the template, this is how long it takes for the ability's power to recharge. If you aren't sure how many posts it should be, ask the Mod for some advice or anyone who is good at making fair abilities.
- Functions and Effects: This important field is to really bring out your creativity. You can make almost any kind of ability you want at any rank, but as long as it is something that you can actually do. If it is a powerful, S rank ability and you are only at Rank D, you are not going to be able to use it. Mods are permitted to advise serious changes if something appears unfair.
*Characters can only use abilities that are of equal rank or abilities of one rank higher.
